Carel was admitted as an attorney in 1992. He was the founder and director of Le Roux Meyer Assenmacher Inc., the predecessor of LVA.

Charlotte heads up the Conveyancing and Property Department.

Charlotte is a partner in the firm and heads up the conveyancing department. 

Charlotte was admitted as an attorney in 1998. She was admitted as a Conveyancer during 2001 and admitted as a Notary during 2008.

Charlotte specialises in property law and all aspects of conveyancing related matters.

We are on a leading bank’s panel for conveyancing related services.

In particular, Charlotte attends to the following conveyancing related matters:

For the past 35 years Johan Jacobs has been the lead attorney and conveyancer for approximately 75 cluster and sectional title developments in Sandton, Midrand, Rosebank and Randburg, South Africa. He focuses on commercial, sectional title, industrial and conventional real estate development.

Johan has been recommended in Legal 500 as “a seasoned figure in township development and real estate developments in the Sandton area”. He has also been recommended in the South African edition of “The best lawyers in South Africa Real Estate division” and as Real Estate practitioner in the international edition of “Chambers and Partners.”

Since 2002, his practice has been mainly advising clients on the legal requirements of high volume developments in the Northern Suburbs of Johannesburg.

Johan is currently running the satellite office of our firm in George in the Western Cape.

Fraser is an associate at the firm after successfully obtaining his BCom Law and postgraduate LLB degree, both from the University of Johannesburg. Fraser completed his articles at LVA and has, since admission, taken on, and added to, a large portfolio consisting of debt collection, commercial and private landlord and tenant disputes, trust law, commercial law, the drawing up of contracts, family law and general disputes of their own nature.


Sharon is a Candidate Attorney currently completing her Articles at LVA.
